Abstract:

More infrastructures are built in this modernization era and it has leads to a lot of places not covered by vegetation like it used to before. Green pavement is introduced and it has a significant effect to solve the problem that is faced in the urban area. This paper demonstrates a new type of green pavement designed to replace the conventional pavements which are impermeable and has a shorter design life. The pavement is an innovative green pavement with structural, environmental and economic advantages. It is chemically inert and it is far less susceptible to surface distress. A distress modelling was used to analyse the surface distress of the pavement and it is compared with the two other conventional pavements. This StormPav Green Pavement works well and is suitable for implementation and can be integrated into the construction of pavement.
