Distributed P2P Management System for AS Interconnection in Heterogeneous Tactical Networks

Abstract:

In today's military communication systems, an important factor is to ensure the highest possible connectivity of nodes in the network. The response of the communication network to the dynamic changes in its structure, resulting from changes in the location of network nodes or their destruction, is a big challenge. The article presents a management system for autonomous systems interconnection in heterogeneous tactical networks that uses the properties of overlay P2P networks that allow for a distributed management of the configuration of border routers that is typically performed by the administration board.
