Distribution Process in a Manufacturing Company

Abstract:

The article assesses the key determinants of the implementation of the process of distribution of finished products of a manufacturing company: the level of quality of deliveries, punctuality of deliveries and distribution costs.  The analysis and assessment of the value of the complaint rate, punctuality of deliveries and average transport costs allowed us to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the distribution process. The study showed that the quality and timeliness of deliveries are treated as a priority in the audited company, and the costs incurred are not significant from the company's point of view. The research conclusions enabled the presentation of recommendations to improve transport and distribution processes
