Abstract:
Nowadays, the continuous growth of the need to have cloud storage services has led to the appearance of a variety of cloud services and solutions. With cloud computing, the goal is to hide from the users the complexity of infrastructure management, providing at the same time scalability and reliability. Beyond that, the costs of cloud computing are low compared to dedicated infrastructures with the same capabilities. The users need to easily store their files centralizing them in a single place being available all the time. That’s where the cloud storage enters to fulfill the needs of the users. However, there is a challenge to these services: offline synchronization. This article reviews the cloud storage and describes a cloud storage solution that tries to resolve the problem of offline synchronization. This solution uses firebase to store the data and uses the device’s cache to work in offline mode.
