Abstract:
Social restrictions and suggestions to stay at home in the era of the Covid-19 pandemic have changed Indonesian people's habits to interact with one another, including donation activity. This study aims to determine the factors that can influence the switching intention and behavior of public donations by using financial technology platforms. This study uses the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) with the addition of the Safety Needs and Trust variables. Data obtained from a questionnaire analyzed by PLS-SEM. The results showed that Perceived of Use and Trust had a significant positive effect on Switching intention to pay for digital donations through financial technology platforms. Other variables, Perceived of Used and Safety Needs, do not affect Switching Intention. On the other hand, Switching Intention supports Switching Behavior to make digital donations during the Covid-19 pandemic.
