Dynamic Management and Logistics Aspects of the Entities Activity of Industrial Defense Potential in Poland

Abstract:

The purpose of this article is to identify the management elements in an organization that give it a dynamic character and build a multi-dimensional dynamic management model that incorporates logistical elements. In order to analyze the aspects of dynamic management, two approaches were used: resource (identifying the organization as a set of resources and competencies) and positional (assuming that organizations seek for the uniqueness of matching with the environment in their activities). The applied approach allowed to identify management elements (dimensions) that are important in a changing environment. A model was proposed that would allow the evaluation of the organization through the prism of the dimensions of dynamic management. The model also includes logistics elements in its structure, which made it possible to determine the level of enterprise's maturity in particular aspects of dynamic management, taking into account the specifics of the surveyed enterprises. The article also identifies unique features of enterprises in the armaments sector, which as a sensitive sector in the economy has a certain specificity of action, which in turn leads to the need to refine and adjust the presented model. There are also elements in the market activity of this sector that determine the changing environment. These include, above all, security issues, including information security, as well as phenomena such as globalization, network connections and others, which should be included in the dynamic management model analyzed in the presented article.
