DyOrch: Dynamic Orchestrator for Improving Web Services Composition

Abstract:

Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) has emerged as an active research area that extends to different domains for achieving the Service Level Agreement (SLA) and also to guarantee the web services Quality of Service (QoS) level. This paper provides DyOrch approach to improve the processes of web service composition and service scalability to satisfy the client's SLA requirements. In particular, the proposed DyOrch approach uses a dynamic service composition technique that consists of two phases; (i) the classification of the web services to design and create the composite web services and (ii) updating the Web Service Definition Language (WSDL) to upgrade and re-construct the service composition using Simulated Annealing (SA) strategy. In addition, the proposed DyOrch approach enhances the composite services scalability by adding extra maximum capacity level to the SLA.
