Abstract:
The purpose of this research is exploring and explaining different dimensions of e-recruitment theoretically. It also tries to find out the main advantages of e-recruitment over conventional recruitment programs and also show e-recruitment strategies used in Malaysia. The findings of this study showed that e-recruitment is basically an e-business system enables enterprises to speed up development of humans’ capital. It has been found that e-recruitment system as an e-business approach brings about many advantages for both employers and job-seekers. This system offers many efficiencies and advantages such as: the ability to initiate interview requests and order back-ground check, unlimited cost information tracking for all activities associated with hiring procedure, customize e-mail notifications for both active and passive candidates, improve integration of communication activities, dynamic creation of employers’ job page and inform job seekers, multiple languages support for multilingual and multicultural societies, an extensive abilities to personalize skills, experiences, and finally tailoring job offerings.
