Abstract:
Improving the mechanisms for creating, using and protecting intellectual property is designed to provide the basic goals of integration processes within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union, which include freedom of movement of goods, services, capital and labor. Intellectual property provides economic relations, serves them to a certain extent, contributes to their positive development, and advocates the development of competition among business entities in the emerging single economic territory. The authors in the paper concluded that an effective intellectual property management mechanism in the EAEU is a factor of reducing the costs of foreign trade business. Inequality in the protection of intellectual property in the EAEU impedes the formation and development of competitive relations, impedes the freedom of movement of goods as the basic goal of economic integration of the EAEU states.
