Abstract:

The task of ensuring the security of facilities and staff of the penal correction system with regard to the reliable protection and isolation of convicted persons and persons detained in accordance with the requirements of law and order remains one of the relevant tasks in the activities of the staff of the penal correction system. In this regard, the article analyses the effectiveness of measures to introduce new technologies in the security system of facilities and staff of the penal correction system in terms of the economic component of this process. Special attention is paid to the economic efficiency of the implementation of engineering and technical means of protection and supervision. Proposed method is to evaluate efficiency of engineering and technical means of protection and supervision on the basis of certain indicators and methods of calculating integral indicator of efficiency of the system as a whole.
