Abstract:
The study covers the assessment of the use of a combination of fertilization with ash from the disposal of municipal sewage sludge and nitrogen in field cultivation of miscanthus sinensis giganteus in the southeastern Poland. A thesis has been made that the ashes produced after the thermal utilization of sewage sludge can replace mineral fertilizer in the cultivation of specific plants for energy purposes. In order to prove the thesis, field experiments were carried out on cultivating Miscanthus for energy purposes As a result of the field research, the attached thesis was confirmed and proved that the obtained dry matter yield shows that the cultivation of miscanthus giganteus is profitable with the use of ash from thermal utilizations of municipal sewage sludge and nitrogen for energy production.
