Abstract:

By statistical data for 2019 cruise tourism is still a success formula. In this paper we analyze the economic-financial performanceof three of most important global cruise companies: Carnival Corporation & Plc, Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd and Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. Companies improve more and more the mix of services on board and on the ground, by offering an unforgettable experience for all segments of tourist including disability persons. Our research and the figure resulted shows that companies have grown constantly their number of tourist and so improving the income. We take into account the following economic-financial index: ROE, ROA, Asset Turnover, Average Asset Turnover, Receivables Turnover, Average Collection Period, NWC-to-Total Assets Ratio, Current Ratio, Long-Term Debt Ratio and Debt-Equity Ratio.
