Abstract:
We are witness of a globally extended health crisis unlike any crisis in the last 100-year history, one that is killing human beings, spreading over human suffering, and affecting people’s daily lives. We can frankly say this is much more than a noted health crisis. It is economic, human and extended social crisis. The coronavirus disease (COVID-19), which is been featured as a pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO), is striking societies at their fundamental bases. Presumably, the global economy contemplated to be shrinked by up to 1 per cent in 2020 due to this pandemic, inversion from the previous advertised forecast of 2.5 per cent growth, it may tighten even further if scaling down on the economic activities are enhanced without sufficient fiscal and monetary reactions. We concentrate on the period from the start of 2020 throughout May when the coronavirus began expanding into worldwide countries and their markets.
