Abstract:
This paper highlights self-organization perspective and the economic security of the innovation ecosystems. Such issues as under what conditions self-organization takes place and what mechanisms of industrial enterprises security are underexplored in the academic literature. Modern challenges of digital transformation modify traditional business models. For the sustainable strategic development of the industrial sector, it is necessary to adapt the system of economic security of industrial enterprises. The research of innovation ecosystems is based on the synergistic principle of ecosystem, and a comparative analysis of organizational models. The author's position of determining the innovative industrial ecosystem and the economic security of industrial enterprises in the conditions of collaboration in the horizontal model is proposed. The article analyzes trends in the development of Russian industry, identifies typical problems faced by domestic industrial enterprises in the context of digitalization. The propositions arising from this analysis provide new information that supports academics, policymakers, government, and individual actors with a more appropriate understanding of the practical mechanisms of the economic security and tools that help trigger self-organization and sustainable development of the innovation ecosystems.
