Abstract:

The article substantiates the relevance of identifying economic security risks in the budgetary institution procurement. Based on scientific approach analysis to the definitions of ‘enterprise economic security’ and ‘risk’, the authors specified the content of such economic categories as ‘procurement risk’ and ‘procurement economic security’. The study of foreign experience in organizing public procurement has allowed us to draw a parallel between the risks specific to the Russian procurement system and the risks identified in this area abroad. The research results and the study of domestic experience in organizing public procurement, allowed the authors to develop a classification of the actual risks of economic security in the procurement sector specific to budgetary institutions in the Russian Federation. It is concluded that the proposed classification is necessary for timely and adequate response to possible risk events.
