Abstract:

This article was written as part of the project SGS 20/2014 Analysis of the business Environment in the region Karvina, the main source of research was dissertation thesis "The importance of logistics infrastructure in the border area the Moravian-Silesian Region" [1], which aimed to demonstrate the connections and relation between the quality of road infrastructure and business activities, based on it we could make credential for the future direction development of road infrastructure in the region. The research was conducted at the level of relations and developments at the level of enterprises, transport infrastructure and regional development. This paper summarizes the knowledge acquired in business conduct in the selected region. The analysis was carried out on a model example of the region with postcommunist behaviour, with structural handicaps and situated in the centre of the European continent. This example could also predict the behaviour of the business environment, standard industrial region be defeated crisis phenomena. The selected region due to regional disproportions was further specified in the border area.
