Abstract:

Our society is dominated by permanent changes in all economical, social, technical fields. Rapid changes determine the need for each sector to constant update the qualifications, in addition to the accumulation of knowledge and skills. Education is an essential element of progress towards the knowledge based economy and of maintaining the standards set by it. In all countries education has an important economic role. The current economy requires a workforce well prepared and adapted. Sectors facing constant development - advanced technologies sector – need well and continuing educated workforce.
