Educational Migration Flows to the Russian Federation from the Countries of the Asia-Pacific Region

Abstract:

Migration educational flows in the world are diverse in their content and dynamics. We are interested in studying migration flows from the countries of the Asia-Pacific region during the transformation of the Soviet Union and the formation of the Russian education system, taking into account the signing of the Bologna Declaration. Russian education has not lost its accessibility for citizens from the countries of the Asia-Pacific region, and our research shows that there is a positive trend in migration flows in the process of educational cooperation between countries. But there are problems that prevent certain countries in the Asia-Pacific region from fully implementing educational migration policies on the territory of the Russian Federation.
