Educational Technologies Development for Wildfire Risk Management

Abstract:

In paper, we consider the development results of educational technologies at university level for wildfire risk management while climate change as part of environmental economics. While studies, we used methods of data bases constructing within digital educational platforms, web-technologies and virtual reality tools. Now, we see digital transformation of university education, due to new concepts of obtaining and presenting educational materials. We use digital educational platforms, which integrate heterogeneous hardware and software resources with the use of web-technologies in distributed networks and wide application of cloud services. As digital educational platforms, we propose to use Google Classroom. Widely, we use remote sensing databases for educational purposes within wildfire risk management. We consider the issues of digital content creation within university education, essentially in practical training. We present the enlarged groups of practical works in this area. While research, we used platform https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Valery_Abramov2/ for data exchange and preliminary discussion.
