Effect of Locus of Control, Self Efficacy, Self Esteem and Self Concept to Academic Procrastination

Abstract:

This study aimed to determine the effect of locus of control, self-efficacy, self-esteem, self-concept on academic procrastination. The number of respondents in this study was 400 respondents. The method used is quantitative research with data analysis techniques using Partial Least Square (PLS), and the process of data collection is done through a questionnaire. The results showed that the variable locus of control, self-efficacy, and self-esteem, a positive and significant impact on procrastination. The study also found that self-concept positive effect on procrastination, but not significant, it is known from the t-statistic values ​​for the variables of self concep1,632 where this value <1.96.
