Abstract:
Economies are increasingly based on knowledge, which is now recognized in Saudi firms, rising into a knowledge-based economy, which provides a focus on the role of information, technology and learning in economic performance. In order to achieve it, the organization and its key advantages ones must recognize the main drivers of knowledge management. A conceptual model developed in the research-in progress paper is to understand the influence of organizational culture on the main pillars of knowledge management towards the effective use of knowledge management system. This research was specifically looking at Saudi Arabia, a developing country that is adopting a knowledge-based economy.
