Abstract:

Many of the challenges facing mankind, such as climate change, water scarcity, inequalities and hunger, can be solved not only at the global level (Walewicz, 2018, 2019), promoting sustainable development, but above all at the local level. Local communities in many countries are working hard to improve the level of sustainable development. They are decision makers and catalysts of change that unite global goals with their own local ones. In the above context, it is important to conduct an appropriate development policy at the local level, including security policy.
