Effects of Compensation Packages on Normative Commitment of Work Life Quality: A Study of TVC Communications, Ketu, Lagos State, Nigeria

Abstract:

The study focused on the Nigerian broadcast sector to examine the effects of a compensation package, the descriptive research design method was adopted for this study and the questionnaire was used to gather relevant data for this research. The findings depict that 91.9% variance of normative commitment is explained by compensation package; 87.6% variance of affective commitment is explained by compensation package; 73.8% variance of continuance commitment is explained by compensation package; and 89% variance of behavioral commitment is explained by compensation package. This suggests that compensation packages contribute more to normative commitment and behavioral commitment; while continuance commitment had the least predictive power.
