Abstract:
The paper aims to analyze the efficiency of hospitals using specified criteria in 2007 and 2011, and to express a possible difference in the investigated years. The paper describes the important dimensions of effectiveness in profit and non-profit hospitals in the Czech Republic at that time. Empirical research has been conducted evaluating secondary data, which are selected from reporting and from internal materials of hospitals in 2007 and 2011. The authors by using statistical methods explore the relationship between specified factors, which are profit and number of employees and detect differences for individual years and the legal status of hospitals in the Czech Republic.
