Abstract:

The article focuses on utilization of WITNESS simulation software for modeling of manufacturing systems. The emphasis is particularly put on data exchange between system models of individual
manufacturers within supply chain. There are data exchange possibilities introduced in this article
from perspective of external suppliers and internal customers of specific processes.
