Abstract:

The theoretical part of the article presents general knowledge about electronic banking services and the importance of ICT networks for the development of this field of economy. Premises causing the dissemination and development of the offer of electronic banking services for micro and small enterprises were also presented. The practical part of this study presents the results of research conducted among owners and managers of micro and small enterprises in the Silesia region covering such aspects as: the degree of using electronic banking services, the most common forms of using electronic banking services, the most important electronic banking services from the point of view of micro and small enterprises, determinants of the use of electronic banking services and threats resulting from the use of electronic banking services. Conclusions and proposals for further research complete the study.
