Electronic Healthcare System based on Collaborative Learning using HL7 and Natural Language Processing

Abstract:

Health plays a key role in our life. Electronic health record systems are nowadays used in many countries around the world. One challenge which appears here is interoperability, because all these systems need to work together. Health Level Seven is a standard for the international electronic health record system functional model. In this way is facilitated a standard description and global comprehension of the capabilities for medical services. This standard is useful for the proposed electronic healthcare system which monitors the health state of pregnant women and persons who suffer from blood pressure diseases by using a smart bracelet which continuously monitors their blood pressure. The patients can also send messages to their personal doctor about their state or appreciate the quality of healthcare in the hospitals where they are sent to be treated. Sentiment analysis is used to determine automatically if the message contains the description of a case where the doctor needs to interfere immediately or if a healthcare unit needs to be notified in case of improper facilities. In this way the wellbeing of humanity will be enhanced and people will remain connected and feel safe regarding their health state.
