Eliminating Electromagnetic Disturbances Generated by Radio Equipment Conducted in Onboard Power Supply Network

Abstract:

This paper presents the requirements which should be met for the electrical and electronic devices not to emit excessive electromagnetic disturbances in an onboard low-voltage power supply network of rail traction units. The example used in this paper is an end radio device in the form of a train radio terminal. This paper discusses the methods to eliminate any conducted disturbances by means of a dedicated filter eliminating such disturbances derived from the installed train radio terminal.
