Abstract:

National Quality Awards serve as important tools to assess the quality of companies worldwide, even in Emerging Markets. India, with Rajiv Gandhi National Quality Award (RGNQA), is no exception. The aim of the paper is to provide a review of RGNQA winners in the period of 1992-2013. To fulfil the aim of the paper, secondary research is to be conducted. Based on the methods of analysis, comparison and selection, a review of RGNQA winners in the period of 1992-2013 is to be provided. As a main finding may be considered that RGNQA winners operate in ten different industries. This can be qualified as a very positive fact. Therefore, every Indian company should be encouraged to participate in RGNQA process.
