Abstract:
In this digital era, digital technology has also become a necessity in human resource management processes. However, in small medium enterprises, having a small team of IT programmers is costly. There is also a high continuity risk. On the other hand, applications provided by experienced companies are usually beyond the company’s budget. This situation raises 2 questions: 1) Is there any way to make a useful application that requires no IT background? 2) If such thing exists, is it possible to empower non-IT HR staff with application development capability? This paper shows that a simple but useful, ready to use application can be developed using the free applications in Google Workspace. People can fill in the google form, click the Submit button, and in a few minutes the report is automatically sent to the designated email address. The second finding shows that it is possible to train non-IT HR staff to create HR applications using this method.
