Enabling Code of Business Ethics through Human Resource Supply Chain Management and Corporate Culture

Abstract:

In this paper, we attempt to analyze the relationship between Human Resource Supply Chain Management (HRSCM) and the Code of Business Ethics (CBE) with its two dimensions, As well; we investigate the relationship between Corporate Culture (CC) and the CBE. To this end, a total of 567 an online questionnaire-based survey was conducted to reach employees, managers, HR personnel who work within different firms (small, medium and large) in private sector in the Middle Eastern countries (Jordan, Saudi Arabia, United Arab of Emirates, and Egypt); representing 27.3% response rate. Final data analysis results of the data gained through the survey by using the (SPSS) Software. The empirical findings show the existence of a positive relationship between HRSCM and the CBE, Moreover, a positive relationship between CC and the CBE. Such results can provide insightful information for HR personnel, managers, leaders to encourage them to develop and maintain an effective corporate code of conduct within their firms.
