Abstract:

As more and more institutions are moving towards the e-learning systems, more and more challenging issues related to modeling such systems have been seen. 
Modeling e-learning processes as document driven workflows with time constraints is a challenging issue. In this paper we propose the use of Time Petri Nets for the modeling and document driven workflow management systems in a timely manner. We illustrate our model, with a simple e-learning process.
