Abstract:
In the age of digitalization, the number of companies storing data in the cloud has gained momentum. They choose to use cloud services, such as SaaS services, taking advantage of the important advantages that licensing and distribution methods offer. At the same time, the ubiquitous nature of electronic communication, along with the prohibitive costs of maintaining an infrastructure of their own, has pushed companies to make the transition to moving electronic data to the cloud. The movement has allowed an increasing number of employees to work remotely, a mandatory requirement in the context of the pandemic. At the same time, it has given rise to new cyber risks, fundamentally changing the way companies improve security measures. In addition to conventional risk management, they are also required to manage cyber risk.
