Abstract:

There is no doubt that Software Defined Networks technology can have a significant impact on future ICT solutions. However, the problem of ensuring security in ICT networks will not change because the devices in ICT networks are and will remain the target of attacks by cybercriminals. The promising concept of a mechanism proposed in this article aims to solve the problem of integrity assurance in a previously unexplored way. The use of blockchain technology in conjunction with network steganography methods, through the use of solutions such as the Secret Protocol Interpreter and the Secret Data Layer, can be of significant importance for solutions that require both an increased level of trust in network elements and the mechanisms to ensure the secure operation of the network.
