Abstract:

Both “Web 2.0” and “Enterprise Web 2.0” are currently hot topics. The aim of this paper is to contribute towards clarification of Enterprise Web 2.0 concept. Based on the Enterprise Web 2.0 framework the specification of Enterprise Web 2.0 as well as of its individual technologies/applications (“instruments”) are presented. Paper further presents summary of instruments use by enterprise as well as short view on Enterprise Web 2.0 adoption, in the light of two representative surveys. Enterprise Web 2.0 is characterized as viable concept in paper conclusion.
