Environmental Impact Assessment regarding Predictive Maintenance Operations for Passenger Cars based on Spare Parts Life Cycle

Abstract:

Periodic technical control is the monitoring of the vehicle's condition and the prognosis of its future status. Predictive maintenance decisions are based on the results of the forecast. The paper proposes to conduct a study on the environmental impact of predictive maintenance operations over the entire operating period for cars equipped with spark ignition engines based on the life cycle of spare parts. It is assumed that the vehicle is technically checked periodically, observing the procedure of a complete verification, using the specified equipment, calibrated metrologically. The air conditioning batteries, tires, oil and refrigeration fluid were taken into account.
