Abstract:

The present paper contributes to the aquaculture environmental risk analysis. The aims of this study are to analysis environmental risk for an integrated model in both aquaculture and agricultural production systems (including aquaponics). The paper main objectives are to identify an analysis model for development of integrated aquaponics. This integrated production system can satisfy human food needs and enhance environmental quality by producing crops using environmentally friendly practices that minimize water and nutrient waste discharges to the environment.
