Ethic Fundamentals and Quality of Government for Sustainable Development. Case of Romania

Abstract:

This article focuses on ethic fundamentals and relates the topic to the broader value framework of quality of governance both at national and subnational level in Romania over the period of time 2004-2015. The evidence strongly supports that the absence of established acceptable ethical norms and when there are, if they are ignored with impunity, the quality of governance is impaired and sustainable development is not possible to be implemented.
