Ethical Human Capital Management – Selected Problems

Abstract:

The acceleration of economic growth and the related demand of increasing productivity and creativity of employees constitute a serious challenge for modern enterprises and force new activities in the field of building management strategies. One of the elements of this strategy is the concept of the employee understood as human capital, i.e. the most important assets of the organization. Human capital management involves a variety of ethical issues.

The article is an analysis of texts related to the presented issue and is of a theoretical nature. It tries to to introduce the concept of human capital and human capital management. It also analyzes several breaches of ethical conduct related to the human capital management process. It is an attempt to reflect on selected problems that arise in the area of ethical management and their consequences for both employees and the entire organization.
