Abstract:

The European Union is an example of economic and political integration which has given the start for the process of interpenetration of cultures. This study is devoted to the problems of cultural integration in the system of globalization processes. Globally, European integration is a rather specific phenomenon. Integration processes in Europe are inextricably linked with the phenomenon of globalization, which today is one of the development trends of the modern world.

It is a process of global economic, political and cultural integration and unification, which covers all spheres of social life. The consequence of globalization processes is the emergence of a united economic, informational, legal and cultural area at the international level. The European cultural policy determines the nature, scope and orientation of the integration processes in the European Union.
