Evaluation of Enterprise Development and Identification of Ways to Improve their Efficiency

Abstract:

At present, more and more importance is given to problems of evaluating efficiency and developing industrial enterprises. New internal and external environment forces enterprises to get adapted to the new assessment of their activity. The development of the enterprise is reflected in the dynamics of economic indicators. Therefore, it is reasonable to use the ordinal scale, which orderы objects of evaluation in accordance with the revealed relations of preferences of the values of indicators, for constructing the integral indicator of the economic efficiency evaluation. The paper proves that using nonparametric statistics methods based on constructing a dynamic normal is efficient. The first stage is to study and construct dynamics of indicators based on correlation coefficients. The second stage is identification of problems of development using a matrix of violations or inversions, where the deviations of the trajectory from the standard dynamic normal are established, and development directions are constructed on the basis of an integrated assessment reflecting closeness of actual and normatively established indicators. The author evaluates the efficiency of the development of an industrial enterprise using dynamic criteria. Therefore, the ordered growth rates of performance indicators are proposed, which allows determining the priority directions aimed at increasing an enterprise efficiency.
