Evaluation of Student’s Performances Using Fuzzy Logic

Abstract:

Even the assessment of students’ performances is a regular part of the school routine, the evaluation of students’ performances is very hard to be measured because it is extremely difficult to remove the evaluator subjectivity. To reduce the effects of the subjectivism of the teacher’s judgment we suggest carrying out such evaluations using fuzzy sets, which are more inclined to the human way of thinking. Three criteria of evaluation were considered: accuracy and coverage of the response, computer skills and abilities and rapidity of response.
