Evaluation Of The Performance Of Shewhart Control Charts In The Context Of Large Data

Abstract:

In this paper, we examine the control charts of Dr. V. Shewhart in terms of the possibility of using them to analyze a large dataset. The basis of our experiment is the Monte Carlo method, in which we generate different numbers with different steps (in our case, the standard deviation and grouping). Our experiment allows seeing imperfection in the Minitab program 18. The program does not allow experiments with a sampling volume of more than 10 million values.
