Abstract:

In the last few months, we have witnessed the media explosion of the Metauniverse concept. The Digital Twin has been talked about for some time, in the process of digital transformation that is set to ensure the transition to and integration into Ind4.0 Naturally, an analysis is needed to establish the similarities and differences between the two digital phenomena, which justify the popularity of the Digital Twin in recent years and which underpin the hypotheses of a trans-dimensional virtual world - the Metauniverse The Metauniverse emerges as a possible: conceptual hype, SF operating tool or means of capital adjustment. But it is equally presented as the virtual environment of the future internet. The Metauniverse 'is born in the real world, interacts with the real world and is always online'; and the Digital Twin, is based on 'virtual and real mapping, real-time connection and dynamic interaction'. The two concepts seem to have many similarities, but they are not the same. So, what is the relationship between the two? It is necessary to analyze the two concepts, metauniverse and Digital Twin, how they are implemented in order to provide a realistic perspective on the future development of these two technologies, especially the metauniverse.
