Examining Employee Engagement within the context of Telecommuting

Abstract:

This study looks at how telecommuting affects employee engagement at SOFTCOM Limited in Lagos. The study uses a descriptive research design. The study population is 300 SOFTCOM employees, with a sample size of 171. The impact of flextime on employee engagement is measured using regression analysis. SPSS is used to test the research hypothesis. The findings show that telecommuting increases employee engagement (P=0.001). The study concludes that telecommuting increases employee engagement. Organizations should recognize the value of telecommuting in increasing employee engagement, productivity, and retaining high performers.
