Examining the Concept of Management by Planning for Creativity (MPC)

Abstract:

The paper examines the concept of management by planning for creativity (MPC) with the intent of accentuating the key features of the design and why it differs from other concepts. The concept advances the importance of diversity, need for time for creativity, organic approach to creativity and mutual actualization by the leaders and followers. It advocates that creative effort should end in innovation. The pertinent question of this paper is how can we “routinize” creativity? This study identifies six features that leadership should be interested in when planning for embedded creativity organizational lifestyle.
