Abstract:

Lean Thinking is a philosophy of business management applied to production that came after craft and mass production. It started with Toyota production system where all the Lean principles were derived from and focused on reducing waste while creating value in the eyes of the customer and stakeholders (Staats, Brunner, & Upton, 2011).
