Abstract:
The article is dedicated to the analysis of the implementation of the federal level priority project on «Export of the agro-industrial complex products» in the context of previously existing, newly adopted and future Food Security Doctrine of the Russian Federation. Risks of the Russian agriculture transition from import-substitution model to export orientation are determined. It is concluded that it is necessary to expand the criteria for achieving the Food Security of the Russian Federation in terms of setting control figures for food consumption broken down into population decile groups to strengthen control over ensuring the food products’ economic availability, especially for the least protected social strata. The author considers it appropriate to maintain the criterion of the country’s self-sufficiency with agricultural goods and food.
