Abstract:
Corporate education is one of the key HR activities. Many companies do not carry out their corporate education through their own instructors but prefer an external provider of educational services for numerous reasons. To make education organized this way efficient a company needs to determine the most important factors that it takes into account in its decisions in relation to the selection of an external provider. The aim of this article is to find out whether most companies are able to determine at least three factors that have a high or maximum priority in the choice, what factors they are and whether any possible differences exist in the determination of such factors between individual companies in terms of their size. A research conducted in companies has shown that most of medium and large companies only are able to determine three important factors, it is not so among small and micro companies. There were further findings: relatively significant differences in the order of the determined factors for the selection of an external provider of education between the individual size categories of companies.
