Abstract:
The article analyzes the demand side of the courier service market in Poland. In recent years, the market has been rapidly growing, chiefly due to the increase in e-commerce. The development of the market translates into a wider scope of services offered and their adjustment to customer expectations. Since behaviors and expectations on the demand side have been changing, it seems relevant to analyze factors that determine the perception and popularity of courier mail operators. The paper presents original findings of primary surveys among individual clients on the Polish courier service market. The study includes an aggregated analysis of findings and their interpretation in the view of the current economic situation on the courier service market.
